Captain's Log

New Toy: 21st September, 2008; I recently got myself a Cintiq 21UX! Needless to say I wasted no time in setting it up and trying it out... and by God, it's a thing of immaculate beauty. I had initial doubts about my ability to utilize it to justify the price tag, but I could tell from the very first stroke to the screen that we were going to have an awesome relationship.
Thurinus Works 5 Launches!: 1st September, 2007; It was about time too wasn't it? After the standards-compliance and Javascript exercise in version 4, I decided to go easy on version 5 and design it as a simple, no-frills personal site and portfolio. Although the gallery is still database-driven (for my sanity), the other pages are left static; dynamically generating them would've been overkill. I hope you'll enjoy the new design and the well-formed XHTML and CSS, if you're into that kind of stuff. Happy browsing!
